REVIEW – BROKEN PRINCE by ERIN WATT
After reading Paper Princess there was no way I couldn’t continue and get my hands on Broken Prince as soon as it released. I literally kept checking and checking to see when it went live. I devoured the book in about 4 hours.
14 pages in I mean just 14 pages and I was completely freaking out. This book picks up where Paper Princess left off which by the way was a completely heartwrenching. We find out why Reed’s perspective of what happened that led to Ella leaving and we are blown away yet again.
Revelation after revelation in this book had my stomach in knots, my insides literally twisted. Waiting on baited breathe, would Ella return? Would Reed be able to repair the damage?
The aftermath of Ella leaving was just way too too much my heart crumbled along with the Royals. This book was a captivating as the first and yet again we are left with another cliffhanger that made me fall down on my knees and cry why oh my god why. Ok maybe a little dramatic but you get it.
Brilliant this book is absolutely brilliant. If you read nothing else this year, read these books. They are easily my top favs of the year.
Now we wait for Twisted Palace.
From wharf fights and school brawls to crumbling lives inside glittery mansions, one guy tries to save himself.
Reed Royal has it all—looks, status, money. The girls at his elite prep school line up to date him, the guys want to be him, but Reed never gave a damn about anyone but his family until Ella Harper walked into his life.
What started off as burning resentment and the need to make his father’s new ward suffer turned into something else entirely—keep Ella close. Keep Ella safe. But when one foolish mistake drives her out of Reed’s arms and brings chaos to the Royal household, Reed’s entire world begins to fall apart around him.
Ella doesn’t want him anymore. She says they’ll only destroy each other.
She might be right.
Secrets. Betrayal. Enemies. It’s like nothing Reed has ever dealt with before, and if he’s going to win back his princess, he’ll need to prove himself Royally worthy.
