REVIEW – SO TWISTED BY MELISSA MARINO
This is the first book I have read by Melissa and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Callie is a student trying to balance classes and make ends meet by working at a bar at night. She is burning the candle at both ends and is exhausting herself. Her roommate finds her a job as a nanny working for Aaron and talking care of his daughter Delilah.
They meet and there is obvious attraction but he is her boss and there is nothing that they can do about that attraction would be appropriate. This story is full of anticipation that will have you at the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens with the two of them. When they finally give into temptation you will see some hot steamy scenes along with some sweet enduring ones.
But of course not everything can be perfect and they will face challenges along the way. Some misunderstandings that will have you wanting to throw your kindle and slap someone. I wasn’t sure what could be done to salvage the relationship but Melissa managed to find a way to do that in this book in a way that made you completely satisfied with the end result.
We also meet Aaron’s brother Abel and he is quite the character as well providing some comic relief to this sometimes intense love story and I am hoping to see him get a book in this series.
A great read and I am excited to see what is next in this series.
